It was joy for Punting to win at Wolverhampton last night. Especially for Mark Dixon who bred the filly and has been a loyal owner since I started training. She came in during the summer and was a big backward girl who blossomed in the Autumn. It is very special when an owner breeder trusts to send their horses in to me. We have had two winners for Mark this year, Puntings half brother Little Rock won in the spring. The mare Lakatoi sadly died shortly after Punting was born.

On Thursday Summeronsevenhills runs. Although their only 6 runners it is a very competitive race and he has also gone up 12lb for his win. Rathagan goes to Southwell, hopefully he can show an improvement stepping up to 6f. They will be our last runners before Christmas but we will have a busy day on the 28th at Lingfield.
